Favorite independent films. Eric Schaeffer’s, “Fall” and “After Fall, Winter.”
Devastatingly beautiful. Too much emotion now for words.
I found out tonight that my favorite movie, “Fall,” has a sequel. This required me to stay up way too late past my bedtime, but considering the immense devotion I feel toward its predecessor, I couldn’t bear to fall sleep without watching “After Fall, Winter.”
First of all, I must express the disdain I feel toward myself for not having known there was a sequel. I feel like I have let Michael Shiver/Eric Schaeffer down.
Upon forgiving myself for the aforementioned, I continued watching. Fall made me cry…a cry I never thought could ever be matched. I was terribly mistaken. After Fall, Winter…I am not sure I have cried this much in my entire thirty years of crying. This movie was utterly and so far beyond completely DEVASTATING. I will never be the same after this night. Never.
Eric Schaeffer, you have destroyed me again. Now I only wish there would be another sequel, so he could destroy me yet again.
Oh, how I miss writing.

Good night. Or as my Icelandic loves say, Góða nótt.
